Our Story
Truly Ruth Consulting’s inception in 2020, during the turbulent times of the COVID-19 pandemic speaks to a powerful combination of faith, resilience, vision, and foresight which mirrors the biblical story of Ruth. In a time when healthcare systems were stretched thin, and uncertainty reigned, Andruette “Kerry” Beckford saw an opportunity to not only respond to immediate challenges but also to build a long-lasting impact on healthcare quality and workforce development.
The fact that she recognized the rising legislative suits and intense scrutiny in healthcare during and after the pandemic, paired with the ongoing challenges faced by frontline healthcare workers, shows a deep understanding of the systemic issues at play. At a time when many were struggling just to keep up with the daily demands, she was thinking strategically about the need for sustained professional development, skill enhancement, and leadership support.

Ms. Beckford is a Registered Nurse Leader with experience that spans across a gamete of healthcare settings, where she has honed her leadership and clinical expertise throughout the years. Her latest experience involves being a Director of Nursing in multiple long -term care facilities and Nursing Administrator in acute care setting.
Ms. Beckford’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. Her resilience and dedication to both her profession and her family during a challenging time reflect a deep commitment to nursing, both in practice and leadership. Balancing nursing education and work while raising a child as a single parent speaks volumes about her perseverance, passion, and ability to overcome adversity.
Her diverse background across so many specialties—acute care, long-term care, insurance, and academia—gives her a unique perspective on healthcare. Each of those areas, while distinct, contributes to a holistic understanding of patient care, care coordination, and the importance of supporting healthcare professionals in various roles. Her experience in long-term care, where the focus is on continuity and quality of care for residents, coupled with her broad clinical expertise, positions her well to understand and address the challenges faced by healthcare teams.
